School Librarian of the Year Honor Award

Rationale

The AISLE School Librarian of the Year Award is given to recognize the contribution of a member within the previous calendar year for service to the organization, contribution to librarianship in Illinois, or for meritorious service to the school library community. The recipient should be a member of the Association at the time the service is performed and at the time the award is given.

Deadline for Nomination

To suggest a nomination, please send the name of the person you would like to suggest for nomination and a brief statement of why you believe the person should be nominated to any member of the AISLE voting board before September 15.

The board members will submit nominations themselves, or on the behalf of others, after the September 15 deadline.

Award Timeline

The recipient will be honored with this award at the AISLE Fall Conference or at an appropriate event for the recipient.
